Robert Half Technology has a downtown client looking for a Systems Architect. Systems Architect should have 5+ years of experience in a consulting environment designing and delivering technical projects. Job responsibilities will include the following: Experience designing large-scale architectures, either web content management systems or portal development, using technologies such as Java/J2EE and web services. Able to provide input for RFP response and be able to scope technical aspects of a project. Able to clearly articulate technology direction and considerations. Able to assess current technology landscape and recommend future technology to meet client’s strategic goals. Able to lead a development team, including requirements gathering, architecture and design, team mentoring, negotiation, conflict resolution.
