Job Title: Graphic Designer Job Location: Chicago Job Summary As a Designer at Sapient, you function as a key member of the Creative Design team and you will be responsible for the development and execution of creative concepts for leading-edge Web solutions and software. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and frame creative concepts according to creative brief requirements. Extend existing online visual systems across applications or Websites with moderate design changes or interpretation Create new visual design systems based on offline systems. Present comps to clients and/or team members; back up and defend design rational. Work with team to manage and execute final concept thru completion of project Develop and define online standards in form of style guides. Work with team/client to develop and create basic process flow and story boards. Job Requirements: Must provide url/portfolio Bachelor's degree preferred in design-related discipline: Interaction, Information or Interface design; Human-Computer Interaction; Design Planning; Graphic Design; Communications. 2+ years of industry experience Candidates must be versed in user-centered design methods and techniques Proficient to expert in: Illustrator, Photoshop Excellent verbal and written skills Experience in working on multiple projects simultaneously Ability to work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary teams Prior experience in a consulting firm preferred Experience in offline or various mediums a plus *Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this role, which include hearing, speaking, typing and occasionally moving and/or lifting up to 15 pounds.
