Our Chicago area client, currently seeks a SAP SUPPLY CHAIN BUSINESS ANALYST with MM/PP experience for a DIRECT-HIRE opportunity.. Participates in business and systems requirements gathering sessions with supply chain business unit in support of projects requiring systems enablement.. Prepares high level IT project assessments to accurately estimate project resources, costs, and timelines.. Translates business requirements into technical system solutions which enable and enhance business processes and satisfy business needs. . Responsible for systems detailed design, SAP Configuration, prototyping of systems solutions, data conversion/migration design and final detailed design documentation.. Works within a project team environment interfacing with business management, business users, project managers, and technical IT resources.. Uses judgment in proactively researching, evaluating, and implementing systems and business process best practices.. Evaluates and communicates impact to the supply chain business unit for system and process changes.. Works with their Manager and Business area on business strategies, system solutions, service levels, IT portfolios, and establishes measurements for internal customer satisfaction.. Provides a single client interface between the Business & IT.. Participates in project and enhancement prioritization meetings with supply chain business unit representatives. Qualifications Bachelors in Engineering/Engineering Technology/Computer Science/Business or related field required.. 4 - 7 years of in-depth IT experience in support of supply chain business processes.. 2+ years of in-depth SAP APO Demand Planning and or Supply Network Planning experience required.. Experience in IT business analysis, developing business process flows, and providing systems solutions to enhance business performance.. Detailed knowledge of systems development cycles, methodologies, project planning and work flow diagramming. Knowledge of supply chain business processes and technical environments. Strong customer service, communication, interpersonal, project management and organizational skills. Experience in supply chain business process outsourcing a plus.. Understanding of supply chain processes within the high tech industry a plus.. Experience implementing SAP in support of supply chain business processes (purchasing, inventory management, demand planning, supply planning, logistics execution, and new product introduction).. Excellent project and program management skills required.. Experience participating in medium to large (10 + team member) projects from start to finish with cross functional members.. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required. Ability to present information to team members clearly and concisely.. Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Visio experience required. . Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize appropriately.
