DTI is seeking Oracle Enterprise (PeopleSoft) Developers who possess experience with Human Resources Applications (HCM) working in an environment where new modules are implemented and customized, as well as in environments where existing modules and customizations are modified to meet changing business needs. The experience levels required by vary needs ranging from more junior developers (1 to 3 years of experience) to assist with easier programming tasks up to expert coders with more than 10 years of experience to oversee highly complex customizations to the most challenging portions of large modules. Required Experience/Skills: Expertise in Oracle Enterprise Human Resource Applications software development in a lead role. Applicable experience with versions specifically for the Public Sector is a plus. In-depth experience with some of the following PeopleSoft technologies (Oracle Enterprise Formerly PeopleSoft): eApps/MSS/ESS, PeopleSoft Security, Tax Upgrades, Workflow, Portal; Patches/Fixes,PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Application Messaging, Integration Tools. SQR/SQL, Query/Crystal/nVision, Component Interface, Process Scheduler, and Integration Broker. Strong experience in developing interfaces performing data conversions. Demonstrated experience and expertise with all phases of a project lifecycle Development process (analysis, design, code, test, migrate, implement, etc.) using formal internal and/or commercially available methodologies. Demonstrated experience and expertise gained from playing a key role in multiple implementations and on-going support roles in major Oracle Enterprise Human Resource implementations. Experience with version control and migration tools, such as PVCS. Experience with the Oracle Portal and related development. Expertise in customizing and building new Oracle workflow processes. Solid verbal and written communication skills. Team player, self-starter, independent thinker, goal/task-oriented. Specific Oracle Developer Roles and Activities: Provide deep and relevant technical knowledge and development skills in the Oracle development tools (listed above) and deep knowledge of the Oracle Enterprise Human Resource Applications. Modify Oracle software based on the Board s business requirements. Code new software/reports/interfaces/extensions to the relevant modules based on the Board s business requirements. Develop and execute Unit Tests. Review Unit Tests developed by peers on the Oracle Development Team. Participate in code reviews. Occasionally, lead code reviews. Participate in design and development review meetings. Code design documents per the existing Board technical design methodology. Participate in requirements capture and definition sessions with relevant members of the business community. Compose relevant documentation following the Oracle Team s established, modified Oracle AIM methodology, as well as other methodologies and templates. Provide technical support during key periods of the project as well as during testing and deployment periods. Provide occasional 24 hour support and support on weekends.
