TechAlliance is seeking a Senior Network Administrator who is service -focused and a highly motivated team player. This professional will join our team providing outstanding IT services for a mid-sized enterprise client. The successful candidate must possess demonstrable expertise and experience in the design, implementation, and support of an enterprise-class Windows/Active Directory/Microsoft Exchange/IIS network running on a Cisco backbone. The successful candidate will have the ability to effectively act as the Network Operations Manager in their absence, perform the traditional duties of a Senior Network Administrator and oversee and assist the 24/7 IT Help Desk staff as needed. Required Skills: - 7 to 10 years experience in general LAN/Network Administration - Strong organizational skills - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Strong planning and implementation skills - A BS/BA degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent training and experience - MCSE - CCNA - Strong knowledge of Data Replication and Disaster Recovery Planning - Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP - Strong skills and experience in Windows Server 2003, MS Exchange 2003, Active Directory, NLB, Clustering, IIS - Strong Cisco networking skills; ASA, 3750s, 6500s, VPN, VLAN - Strong skills in SAN implementation and support - Working knowledge of VMWare ESX - Blackberry Enterprise Server - Backup Exec - Microsoft Service Center Operations Manager (SCOM) Responsibilities: - Hands-on LAN/Network operations and management to e nsure the reliability, performance, security, and high availability of all network services - IT Operations planning and implementation - Support and maintenance of the remote Disaster Recovery solution - Develop and maintain appropriate procedural, functional, and technical documentation - Maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors - Provide technical/procedural guidance/support to Level I and II support technicians - IT operations and project status reporting - Re-build and configure Servers as required - Supervise 24/7 IT Help Desk staff (Level I & II Network Administrators) Other Desired Skills - Microsoft Communications Server (OCS) - Microsoft SQL Server
