The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in direct support of Linux/Unix applications. These applications are primarily Java, J2EE, AWT and Swing applications running on a Linux/Unix platform. The candidate will need to work closely with the development teams and QA teams to perform problem analysis, document the issues and work on bug fixes/enhancements. Working experience with TIBCO, Oracle or other RDBMS database knowledge are required. Ideally the candidate would have hands-on experience with 3rd party agent based software (ie HP OVO, UC4). This candidate will have worked in a fast paced dynamic environment which requires excellent customer service skills. Qualified candidates must be a quick learner, and have an ability to work effectively independently and as part of the team. The duties for this candidate are as follows: - Troubleshoot and resolve break fix related issues assigned from Ticket tracking system.- Weblogic, Clearcase experiences are highly desirable- Proficient in data retrieval and data parsing which follows defined message specifications. Experience with Tibco or other data delivery system a plus- Proficient in Oracle database SQL. Stored procedures and triggers a plus.- Strong ability to learn existing applications quickly and to be able to make modifications to them.- Ability to work independently.
