Global law firm seeks hands-on storage engineer to work closely with the company s IT and business groups for the planning and monitoring of the firm's internal network storage environments, particularly NAS, but also SAN, direct attached storage and data protections. Great team lead skills a definite must as well as an excellent troubleshooting skill set as it pertains to data storage. REQUIREDSKILLS: Must have 5+ years hands on experience supporting EMC Celerra NAS in a Windows environment. 5+years experience in supporting EMC Clariion arrays, and EMC Centera. Candidate must have 5+ years in storage support and management experience. 4+ years supporting Hitachi AMS and Thunder San arrays. Must be able perform with minimal oversight;lead and work on teams as a contributor; display effective time-management skills; demonstrate competency in storage management, including disk and/or tape backup-related support maintenance and reporting; Must have experience in Disaster Recovery, HSM, ILM and advanced backup technologies such as Virtual Tape Libraries. Must also exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, vendor management skills, troubleshooting and reporting and performance improvement skills. The ability to work off hours for scheduled and emergency maintenance and/or upgrades is required.
