Experience: This Software Developer role requires 2+ years of structured programming experience with software development tools such as C++, Visual Basic, ASP.NET, VB.NET, and/or C#, a 4 year degree or 5+ years of experience, and an understanding of Internet technology and architecture. Strong ASP and .NET skills (ASP.NET, C#), Java and open source are a plus. Direct eCommerce site experience (defined as a web site that sold something for which a credit card was processed over the Internet), proficiency in industry standards, such as XML and SOAP, and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at both a business and technical level are required. Object-oriented and design skills with UML experience is a plus. Candidates must possess strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce business-driving technical reports and be self motivated and focused, with a positive outlook and excellent organizational skills. The successful candidate will provide the detailed application development skills required to build new solution components, update existing programs, and/or other aspects of our production eCommerce site.
