We have an immediate need for a Help Desk Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION
Roles and responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and managing incoming calls from Traders and other internal customers, via the phone and through our ticketing system. The role requires tracking calls into the service desk and the escalation of tickets that cant be resolved immediately. The Help Desk Technician must be able to run programs from the UNIX command line shell and be able to perform some investigative analysis for incoming calls with the goal of first call resolution. The Help Desk Technician will create tickets into a standard format and categorize issues into specific buckets and queues. The Technician will then track the tickets in various queues and follow up with each customer.

The service desk can be busy and stressful at times, so it is essential that you can handle a fast paced, high stress, and a demanding customer environment. Excellent communication skills are necessary to be able to talk to Traders and IT personnel. Capturing accurate documentation on tickets based on Trader calls under pressure will be essential to resolve problems. The ability to learn and follow existing scripts and documentation for problem resolution, and the ability to enhance and create new documentation for new issues that occur is required to build our knowledge database.
Note: Hours for this role will range from 6AM-3PM, 7AM-4PM, 9AM-6PM and will include occasional weekends and out of hour support. The Help Desk Technician is also required to carry the Help Desk/Trader Support phone.

Technical skills required:
- At least 3 years previous experience working on a help-desk or technical help-desk, or equivalent skills with dealing on the phone and with electronic tickets.
- Experience with trading jargon and an understanding of the markets and products such as Options, futures and equities is required.
- Previous use or experience with Remedy, Peregrine or other call ticket tracking system.
- Previous use dealing with internal or external customers over the phone, and ability to effectively use a phone & multi-task between different lines and calls and walk.
- Ability to use keyboard quickly (50 wpm), and multiple screens to track system alerts and manipulate our monitoring tools, to acknowledge and deal with specific alerts
- Ability to use Microsoft Windows and run/execute Microsoft application programs
- Quick and driven learner

UI Designer Lead/Multiple Location in Chicago, IL

As the CIG User Experience Design Lead, you will establish, plan, implement and manage the user interface design for projects, GUI prototypes, and HTML page design. You will work with the product development team to design online user experiences for the Chase and JPMorgan family of Web sites. The Design Lead will assess customer impacts, create solutions, and ensure coordination and communication of impacts to key stakeholders. You will interface with internal and external vendors, and Systems departments, and will be responsible for detailed documentation and regular status reporting.

The Design Lead will manage a team performing User Interface Design and Information Architecture tasks as well as perform those tasks. The Design Lead must have the prerequisite user interface design and management experience with deep skills with Usability best practices, Information Architecture, and User Interface Design. This position requires someone who is a natural leader and advisor. You will be a "face" of CIG's CE team as you meet with internal clients and technology partners. You need to be consultative while multi-tasking through numerous stages of multiple projects. You must be able to deliver solutions and value on a regular basis, while balancing you and your team's workload providing efficient and smart solutions that bring the lines of business back for more.

Qualifications

. Minimum 4 years related experience.
. Experience with the Internet and/or Internet-related projects.
. A minimum of two years project management and people management experience preferred.
. Excellent multitasking ability to coordinate multiple projects, facilitates meetings across business lines and vendors, and meets both scheduled and unscheduled deadlines.
. Must possess excellent computer skills, including working knowledge of banking software, project management tools and flowcharting. HTML skills preferred.
. Strong analytical, problem solving, decision-making and leadership skills are essential. Works under minimum direction and uses independent judgment in decision-making.
. Must work well in a geographically dispersed team environment and manage in an active, changing environment.
. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
. Ability to persuade and influence is key. Must have ability to be tactful yet assertive.

JOB DESCRIPTION The DataStage Performance Engineers will be responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing DataStage performance issues as well as providing solutions to improve overall application performance. You will work with Enterprise Architecture team in planning and designing optimum topology for Java applications running on WebSphere. Advanced investigation and resolution of all (test and production) application/environment issues for 24/7 mission critical applications utilizing the above technologies. Work with development and infrastructure teams to fully understand the applications and application interfaces to lead troubleshooting efforts when issues are reported. Use performance tools and techniques to find bottlenecks and mMake recommendations for resolving those bottlenecks. Fully configure and utilize Java Application Performance Monitoring products for troubleshooting, reporting, capacity planning and trending. Develop efficient, no-downtime and cost-effective WebSphere and AIX migration/upgrade plans. Provide 24x7 technical support of production environment with weekly on-call rotation. Install, configure, deploy and troubleshoot existing and future applications running on WebSphere Application Server ND6.1. Configure & tune caching, DRS, thread pooling and JVM heaps. Configure J2C resource adapters, connection factories and MDB activation specifications. Automate daily administration, deployments, performance reports and other repetitive tasks using Jython, KSH, Perl, etc. Plan, Install, configure and troubleshooting AIX 5.3 and above on System i Power6 Systems. Diagnose and resolve system initialization problems, disk failures, JFS2 file system and log corruption. Perform problem determination using LED codes, system dumps, error reports and common AIX commands.
Experience: 5-10 years of solid Unix based WebSphere systems management and Architecture experience (installation, configuration, maintenance and design), managing mission critical 24x7 applications; solid Jython knowledge. In depth experience with WebSphere Application Server 6.1ND. Thorough understanding of WebSphere Service Integration Bus (SIB). Experience in analyzing application problems using tools like OpNet Panorama/CA Wily Introscope/IBM Tivoli Performance Viewer and provide solutions to bottlenecks & poor response times. Fluent with AIX, familiar with UNIX, Linux, Solaris or other flavors of UNIX type operating system. Experience managing VIO. Solid knowledge of NIM, MKSYSB and HMC. Advanced experience analyzing and implementing procedures to improve system and application efficiency. Thorough understanding of Logical volume manager (LVM) and JFS2 file systems. Working knowledge and experience on AS400, DB2, and SQL Server a plus. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science required - Master's Degree a plus.
