Security Analyst (Compliance) – Information Security

Job Description

The Security Analyst (Security and Compliance) charged with Information Security, under direction and counsel from the Manager (Security and Compliance), has day-to-day responsibility for ensuring internal and external compliance to system and data security in support of Client data(base)-driven marketing initiatives.

As part of this function, s/he is responsible for helping to monitor performance and compliance with Agency and Client business policy, process and procedure governing the support of Client marketing initiatives through internal and external information security audits. These audits are multi-faceted and including the following categories: 1) Security vulnerability; 2) Physical security control; 3) Computerized access control; 4) Operational security; 5) Networking security; 6) Contingency planning and response; and 7) Privacy data requirements.

Finally, s/he may also be called upon to plan, coordinate, and manage internal and external system and information access processes and procedures to Client, Agency and Third-Party systems.

Specific tasks include:

Job Description
Ensure that performance and load tests developed internal to each specific product group meet quality assurance standards prior to system delivery and implementation clients. Oversee compliance of engineers with architecture, best practices, and coding standards through testing and audits and as a reviewer of those documents and artifacts. Interface to the developers, analysts, and project managers. Coordinate performance testing activities and participate in scripting and performance test executions. Ensure that performance and load tests developed internal to each specific product group meet quality assurance standards prior to system delivery and implementation clients.
