. Provide for the planning, integration, casing, scripting, and execution of all testing required of a single software change or project
. Review business requirements, and design specifications for low to moderately complex change / systems for completeness and testability
. Develop and maintain test plans, test environment, test cases, test scripts, and / or workflow usage, with some assistance
. Conduct testing using company - specific, manual or automated processes
. Execute test scripts / cases and communicate the results to all parties
. Prepare and maintain test case documentation (which may include alignment to client configurations)
. Diagnose and resolve technical and operational problems on installed networks, systems or products
. Recommend improvements to the overall quality process to create efficiencies
. Participate in the design of future functionality
Experience: . Understanding and experience with financial markets including FX exchange trading, OTC, etc
. Minimum of 5 years leading or managing QA projects
. Solid understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies including product deployment and user acceptance testing
. Experience developing test plans and test cases for functional, performance and failure testing along with execution in respective areas
. Experience with managing risk assessment and mitigation planning
. Experience with Change control process and issue escalation
. 3-5 years experience with Java, Unix and DBMS
. Very organized with attention to details
. Good understanding of communication and multiple protocols
. Good awareness of customer service
Educational Requirements
. Bachelor's degree or similar technology oriented degree
