Robert Half Technology has a client, located in the downtown loop area, who is seeking a Computer Operator to join their team on a contract basis. The Computer Operator will maintain and support all iSeries hardware, software, and peripherals within the Agency. He/she will act as back up support to the Network Analyst, providing support to the Windows environment. The Computer Operator will assist all users through problem areas. He/she will execute and monitor iSeries production jobs, prints reports, and distributes reports in a timely manner. He/she will monitor the iSeries and WIN servers for error messages and possesses strong analytical skills to investigate and solve these errors. The Computer Operator will create and delete user accounts and permission for the iSeries and Windows, as required.
