Robert Half Technology has an ongoing opportunity for a SQL Database Administrator for a client located in the downtown loop. This position is primarily responsible for continuing the database development of a MIS risk management data warehouse. Responsibilities include: daily interaction with sponsor and application programmers to drive the database development in a data driven application. Implement near real-time and scheduled ETL jobs using SSIS Data warehouse schema improvements. Analysis and enhancement of reporting systems. SQL development to consolidate data sources and simplify data pipeline. Design and implement database maintenance routines. Design and execute test plans. Experience developing reports using a Business Intelligence reporting tool. Business Object or ad-hoc report creation tool experience desirable. Web Services experience a plus.
