Great Financial Institution, located in the Chicago Loop, is currently seeking a 2+ year BMC Patrol Administrator to maintain and develop custom Patrol KMs for various applications, and to manage all Patrol agent machines for proper functionality. Candidate will manage and improve the Patrol and Perform consoles (menu structures, notification standards, etc.), as well as assist with administrative duties for additional UNIX-based applications: Filenet/P8, Remedy, Control-M, Control-D, TME NetView, and SAS.

Qualifications:
-Previous related work experience to include technical support/troubleshooting experience on UNIX and/or Windows operating systems
-The applicant must have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills as well as superior interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
-Proven experience in working directly with technical users
-Proven experience in working within a group setting as well as managing stressful situations
-Proven experience with standard MS-Office tools including Excel; MS-Project and MS-Access as well as UNIX systems administration experience would be a strong plus
-Degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
--depth experience with BMC's Patrol software (running on Unix/Windows platforms).
-Expertise with other BMC products (Perform, Remedy, Control-M, Control-D) is a plus, as is familiarity with shell and Perl scripting
