This role requires the person to facilitate and coordinate the implementation of strategic practice group plans. Coordinate practice group events, seminars and client appreciation events. Preparation of RFPs, PowerPoint presentations and marketing materials for meetings with current and prospective clients, including customized supplemental materials for the practice groups. Conduct competitive and market research and analysis to identify key and emerging industries to support practice groups’ development initiatives. Research existing client profiles to explore cross-selling opportunities and to expand partner knowledge of services provided to firm clients. Identify and provide data about new business prospects to support practice group development or expansion decisions. Development and continual update of various group marketing collateral, including brochures, supplements and website content.

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field required. Minimum of 3-5 years of previous marketing/business development experience in a professional services or law firm environment. Understands the needs and expectations of attorneys and their clients. Familiarity with the services provided by an intellectual property law firm. Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize workload, solve problems quickly and adapt to changing conditions. Must be detail-oriented, organized, have excellent written and oral communications skills, and a strong client service orientation. Must be able to exercise independent judgment when necessary. Proficiency with applicable software packages: Word, PowerPoint, Excel. InterAction knowledge a plus. This person must have experience in managing complex workflows. This person will at times be required to act as a liason with various departments.
