We have an immediate need for an Instructional Designer.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Midwest branch of CDI is looking for at least two Instructional Designers for an opportunity with one of our clients. These professionals will be supporting an Oracle E-business implementation and designing instructional and training material for the enterprise-wide endeavor.

Required Skills:
-Strong Instructional Design background with a robust understanding of the ADDIE model of design and delivery
-7+ years of experience in Adobe Captivate 3
-3+ years of experience in Adobe Dreamweaver CS3
-5+ years of experience in MS Office Suite applications including: MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
-2+ years of experience in Info Mapping
-At least one year of experience in designing end user training for Oracle e-business suite (11i) applications
-Analyze, designs, develops and implements learning solutions using instructional systems design principles and adult learning theory.
-Work with subject matter experts to develop the presentation sequence and interactions for computer-based multimedia training.
-Responsible for designing and developing story boards, work sheets/sample exercises for computer based courses
-Responsible for design and development of job aids using Info Mapping
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills -
-Assist in delivery of end user training that will be conducted in May
-The Instructional Designer will support in design of courses for end user training that goes live in May 09
-Self starter with ability to work with limited supervision and deliver results
-Ability to adapt to changing needs and respond quickly and positively
-Task oriented and has the capacity to design and deliver demonstrations and simulations using Adobe Captivate3.0 for various courses

Desired Skills:
-3+ years of experience in designing end user training for Oracle e-business suite applications for Oracle modules like Sales, Order Processing, Service Contracts and Order Management etc.
-5+ years of experience in Adobe Dreamweaver CS3
-2+ years of experience in using Global Crossing for delivering instructor enabled web courses.
-3+ years of experience using Lotus Notes 7
