As a key member of the Technology team, the Java Lead will be responsible for leading the technical development team which includes minimum of four Java developers .This role leads the ongoing technical support of the portal application. A successful candidate must be able to work effectively with database, analysis, quality assurance, and other teams on complex projects.<br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. Experience: The ideal Java Lead must have minimum of three years of leadership experience leading a team of Java programmers. He/she should possess the ability to evaluate, assess, plan, and guide technical direction and architecture decisions. The ideal Lead must have at least 5 years of full lifecycle development experience; minimum of three years of programming experience in Java and J2EE; minimum of three years of HTML/DHTML, CSS, XSLT, other Web technologies; and also at least a year experience with a web portal like ATG Portal or WebSphere portal; must have a good understanding of relational database technologies (Oracle or MS SQL Server); experience with web services; experience supporting systems in a production environment; experience with a source code control system. The ideal candidate must have experience with Hibernate, Spring, Struts, JDBC, EJB, ATG. It&#146;s considered as a plus to have experience in the insurance and /or financial services industries
