My North Side client seeks an Oracle Functional Business Analyst to join their team on a full- time basis. This individual will be responsible for assuming a lead functional role in the development, testing and implementation of their Oracle ERP system. The successful candidate will be required to work closely with a variety of stakeholders in order to provide development and training support in the functional areas of purchasing, inventory control, shop floor control/reporting, accounting specifically AR, AP, GL, FA , and product data management.
Specific tasks include interfacing between users and Oracle/I.S. team members to develop and modify the Oracle system to meet user needs, as well as participating in the ERP modification of user needs. The Functional Business Analyst will also be working with operational users and translate user needs into useful ERP interfaces.
Experience: Candidate MUST Have 3+ years of Oracle experience. They should also have a comprehensive understanding of inventory transactions and movements, manufacturing accounting systems, purchasing; product data management and/or shop floor control/reporting. The Web Engineer is responsible for user-interface development in web applications, and for owning their applications through QA, Production Deploy and Application Maintenance phases. Technical Skills and Experience

1. 2-3 years of web development experience specializing in interface technologies including graphic optimization and production. Hand coding advanced HTML, CSS, DHTML, JavaScript, Ajax and XSL/XSLT.

3. Thorough familiarity with cross-browser/cross-platform issues, DOM and web standards

This individual will manage the development, deployment and support of one or more catastrophe risk management products for internal and external use. This position requires a blend of software development knowledge and domain expertise in catastrophe modeling and insurance risk management to understand and translate user needs into innovative ideas for enhancing existing products/tools and to develop concepts for new products.
