Job Responsibilities: Change content on the client's web site to ensure that existing website has a consistent layout and design. Develop new web pages for the client including importing content, links and providing navigation assessment. Develop and/or support the creation of static and dynamic HTML including developing and optimizing web images for download efficiency and clean design. Provide enhanced web-based functionality including document/list libraries and flashed based demos. Skills and Experience Knowledge of HTML and basic web application development. Works with DBA's, Project Managers, developers, vendors and users (internal & external) to define project scope and requirements and coordinators all database development activities as well as insure compliance with all corporate adopted system standards and directions. Responsibilities: Overall management and successful, on-time completion of clients database system projects which include data model design, capturing database documentation in Erwin, creation of database objects, producing DDL's performance monitoring, troubleshooting, database and application tuning, security policies, database backup strategy and capacity planning. Produce detailed project plans, evaluate DA resources that are needed for projects, estimate project cost and duration based on requirements. Work with project teams to develop database requirements and translate them into detailed specifications. Maintain the Enterprise data model repository using Erwin Model Mart software and corporate standards in developing databases. Publish data models on the Web. Define tasks and design system architecture for new implementations, provide project status information to management. Identify opportunities for process and database system improvements and develop a proactive approach to performance issues and capturing performance statistics. Follow all current Change Management control procedures between test, development, assurance and production environments. Coordinate testing with other development groups and operations. Identify appropriate level of testing and ensure that testing is complete before signing off. Provide support for development and production systems. Assist developers with application design and performance tuning. Responsible for staff management, career planning and recruiting. Supervise the work of direct reports. Requirements Proven experience with technical architecture design and development of enterprise-wide applications and databases in distributed environment to include a minimum of 10-15 years experience in Relational database design and administration. Experience with Oracle is mandatory, with a special emphasis on data modeling, data analysis and deployment of databases. Erwin skills as well as knowledge and practical experience of Oracle 10G RAC is required. Proven management and leadership skills to include managing multiple projects, mentoring team members and staff as well as outstanding administrative management skills with the ability to motivate staff. Design of large databases (100+ tables) and 2+ terabytes to include at least 10 years with applications analysis and design. Knowledge and practical experience of applications development in distributed database environment. Outstanding communication, presentation and documentation skills. Must be organized with strong interpersonal skills and comfortable with a projects-oriented environment. Strong critical thinking skills, including systems and business analysis, problem analysis and resolution, good judgment and decision making ability. Educational requirements include a college graduate in Computer Science. Masters degree is a plus.
