3 month contract-to-hire

We are currently expanding our QA team in order to increase our testing coverage and enhance our automation testing efforts. We are seeking a contract-to-hire QA Analyst who has experience in defining test cases from technical specifications, creating thorough system test plans, and possessing the ability to convert these test cases into automation scripts. The QA analyst will be expected to execute manual and automated test cases, exercising functionality of systems and its interfaces. He/She will be required to maintain and update test cases and test plans throughout the testing process.

The candidate should have an aptitude for technical concepts. The candidate will be working closely with the development team, product managers, and support staff to ensure product quality and client satisfaction. A can-do attitude through personal initiative is a must.


Experience: Skills:

1. QA Automation (Mercury: QTP, TestDirector)
2. Any healthcare experiecne
3. Strong QA skills-test case definition, scripting.

MUST have QTP or VBScripting experience
5 plus years of QA/software testing experience. 3 plus years of QA/software automation experience using Mercury tool suite. Otherwise, experience with a similar test automation tool. A sound understanding of QA concepts and methodologies. Strong experience with software development lifecycle phases. Knowledge of SQL: relational database with the ability to create SQL queries. Knowledge of Perl or other type(s) of scripting. Working Knowledge of XML. Experience working with Websphere, J2EE and C++ application. Experience in general admin and hardware related tasks on lab machines and servers. Experience in performance/scalability testing. Some development experience with Visual Basic, VB Script, C and C++ is a plus. CSTE or CSQA certification or similar certification is a plus.
