Required: 5 plus years experience in technical support using DB2/UDB, Windows OS, Unix Administration, Siebel 7 Call Center support, Operations experience change and Configuration Management experience. Assignment Description / Responsibilities:* The role specifically will apply understanding of Siebel application implementation at client location, perform on-call production support, and drive technical issue resolutions. Further includes: owning production system administration tasks; reviewing/managing production issues including working on CTI issues; resolving production administration, and setup issues; helping to define and execute production deployment processes; defining deployment phase CMM processes; and coordinating production defect resolutions with development team. In addition to environments, this job also includes performance testing. Manages the support incident and issue resolution process. Plans and executes configuration management activities related to code promotion. Supports application, hardware, and software health and resiliency. Maintains the environments such as; development, test, training, and production. Proactively monitors and supports production environment. Provides on-call support and escalates and coordinates resolution with other groups. Drives root-cause analysis on incidents to provide future application resiliency. Provides input into detailed project estimates and work plan. Establishes and monitors application security. Manages daily use and requests for changes to the environments in their area of responsibility. Assists DBA in implementing schema and other database changes.
