Our client, a GLOBAL Services firm currently seeks a PeopleSoft Finance & Performance Management Manager for a DIRECT-HIRE position to work from most any major US City.

Job Description:

This candidate will collaborate with client teams to define, architect and deliver transformational finance and performance management solutions. They should be able to demonstrate an understanding of processes and best practices within finance functional areas and how to use Oracle functionality to support those best practices.

Responsibilities include:

Develop detailed work plans, direct project teams, deliver status, and manage to budget
Prioritize and oversee activities of others to meet deadlines and quality standards
Directly supervise or coordinate the work of others on a small/medium sized team
Coach junior team members and foster an active learning environment. Provide advice on procedures/work methods to colleagues
Exhibit working knowledge of familiar functional areas by calling on previous job experience and training, and practical insight into unfamiliar functional areas
Be a self-motivated, enthusiastic team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills, well-versed in finance and accounting terms, latest industry trends, and applicable external factors

Key responsibilities could include:

Finance and performance management reporting to internal and external stakeholders
Leading practice finance and accounting process analysis and design
Leading practice finance and accounting transaction processing including shared services and outsourcing arrangements.
Planning, budgeting and forecasting
Treasury management
Risk Management
Regulatory Compliance including Sarbanes-Oxley, IFS, Basel II.
Ability to meet travel requirements, up to 100%

Basic Qualifications:

5 years experience with at least two of the following PeopleSoft v. 8 or higher Financial applications: EPM and supporting modules; General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Project Accounting, Fixed Assets, Purchasing, Cash Management, EPM. Must also have experience with process and best practices within finance and accounting functional areas and how to leverage PeopleSoft functionality to support those best practices.
Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

Business consulting experience (preferably big 4)
CPA, CFA, MBA, or experience as an accountant
Experience with at least two of the following PeopleSoft v. 8 or higher Financial applications: EPM and supporting modules; General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Project Accounting, Fixed Assets, Purchasing, Cash Management, EPM
Proven understanding of process and best practices within finance and accounting functional areas and how to leverage PeopleSoft function
Direct experience in creating business change using Oracle 11i Financials and Oracle Financial Analyzer
Experience with other major ERP packages and/or other OLAP reporting tools (Cognos, Hyperion, Oracle, SAP SEM)
Software selection and CRP/prototyping skills

Compensation: Salary up to: $140,000 + BONUS + strong benefits (incl. 5 weeks vacation 1st yr)
