Client is seeking a highly motivated Citrix Engineer to join the Network Operations Team. The Citrix Engineer will be part of the team that supports the IT Infrastructure, which includes over 170 servers and more than 1800 end users and workstations. The main responsibility of this Engineer will be administering a growing 300 user Citrix environment, running Citrix Presentation Server 4.0. This Citrix Engineer must demonstrate a solid set of technical skills as well as excellent interpersonal and troubleshooting skills. The Citrix Engineer will perform analytical, technical and administrative work in the planning, design and installation of the new and existing Citrix servers, PCs, and Windows Terminals, installs new Windows Terminal and PC hardware and maintain existing hardware. <br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. Experience: This Citrix Engineer position requires strong knowledge of Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 and related versions of Citrix. Experience with ICA client, Windows Terminals, Citrix web client, and Citrix administrative tools is required. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems including Windows 2000/XP, and Windows Server 2000/2003 is also required. Microsoft Active Directory experience, fundamental knowledge of TCP/IP addressing and subnetting, knowledge of PC hardware repair and troubleshooting, and experience using Symantec Ghost or other imaging tools are required. Experience with VMware and Citrix/Windows Terminals is a plus. Experience with Meditech version 4.x is also a plus. Bachelor&#146;s degree from a four year college or university is required. CCA, CCEA, MCP and/or other professional certifications are desired. Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare environment is a plus.
