Job Description: SAP professionals design, implement and deploy SAP solutions to achieve defined business goals. They maintain skills in SAP applications process design and configuration; SAP application design, development, integration, testing and deployment; and SAP application technical architecture.

This is a SAP - Functional position for the Chicago (with NO TRAVEL) !!

SAP Financials professionals design, implement and deploy SAPfinancial solutions for finance, accounting, cost controls, executive controls, treasury, investment management and real estate management.



A Senior Software Engineer contributes to the development, delivery and maintenance of technology-based business solutions. He/she is skilled in designing, coding, testing, and implementing configuration changes to software applications to meet both functional and technical requirements. He/she may have some oversight responsibility for the technology solution and may assist in the development of the team.



Key responsibilities may include:

- Supporting the technical design process by participating in the analysis of technical application requirements

- Assisting in implementing analyses that will identify requirements related to people, processes and technology

- Participating in implementing the technical infrastructure

- Assisting in the integration of technical and application components

- Coding and testing program modules; assisting in design

- Maintaining, tuning and repairing applications; providing user support

- Participating in execution and documentation of tests

- Executing conversion plans and documenting possible improvements; identifying disruptions in the processes



Qualifications

- 2+ years configuration or development experience with SAP FI Financials or CO Controlling

- 3+ years professoinal IT related work experience

MUST HAVE A STRONG FINANCIAL BACKGROUND. CPA'S WILL BE A +
