Oracle Financial R12 Programme/Project Manager, USA, Urgent SUMMARY: Client is looking for an Oracle Financials IT Project Manager to manage the delivery of the Oracle E-business Suite Release 12 application and supporting technology integration services for the replacement of the current applications that supports Back Office financial accounting. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage the implementation of Oracle Financials R12 globally Co-ordinate multiple stakeholders (business, vendors, IT, PMO) to ensure successful delivery of the program Provide detailed status reporting to steering committee on project progress Provide strong leadership across all aspects of the project The scope of this project will include the implementation of the Financial Services Accounting Hub (FSAH), General Ledger (in conjunction with Sub-Ledger Accounting), and Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets modules from the Oracle E-business Suite. The implementation of the Oracle General Ledger module will also include consolidations performed at a global level under international financial reporting standards. REQUIRED SKILLS: Proven ability to deliver large global systems integration projects with Oracle E-business Suite Release 12. Experience with the technical architecture required to host selected software solution. Previous experience with Global technical implementation project delivery. Strong knowledge of Oracle E-business Suite (release 12 is desirable, release 11 is considered essential) Strong financial background with a detailed understanding of accounting processes in the financial brokerage industry (financial qualifications are desirable) Strong knowledge of the overall global broking and/or investment banking environment Effective global project management skills including the ability to plan, organize, prioritize and balance complex and multiple tasks, stakeholders and projects to ensure target dates and goals are delivered. A proven track record of leadership delivering an organized and structured approach to projects. Leadership capability with a proven ability to define and shape complex projects in the Finance area Strong management skills with the ability to influence and lead initiatives within the company and manage and motivate teams towards shared goals. Strong negotiator with an understanding of working with multiple partners in achievement of objectives. A creative, strategic thinker with a very strong practical viewpoint Excellent communication skills with the ability to co-ordinate the production of concise and clear project status updates to key stakeholders Well organized and able to solve complex problems at a detailed level Delivery focused The ability to travel globally.
