Within this role, the developer will work on the Risk Management IT team and will be responsible for servicing the Technology needs of the entire Credit Desk. This will entail supporting and enhancing the existing infrastructure to support additional financial products, models and risk metrics. Experience: -Minimum of 4 years experience using C/C++ -Expert in writing real-time, super high performance, multithreaded applications on Unix/Linux platform -Basic DB exposure needed (Sybase/Comparable RDBMS) -.NET/C# or MFC is a plus -SQL, XML, PERL is a plus -Exposure to Credit/Fixed income front office is a plus Personnel/Communication Skills: - Need to be able to work as a team - Able to take ownership of the task at hand - Ability to work in a highly dynamic work environment. - Ability to gather requirements and manage tasks without constant direction Other - Quantitative aptitude or a degree in Math is a big plus.
