Location: Chicago, IL
Salary: $75,000 - $95,000
Type: Perm

Responsibilities:
- Serve as a member of the QA team as part of the technical track within the overall LinX project.
- Lead members of the team to accomplish various QA projects such as test case development, code migration and test case execution.
- Work collaboratively with both technical and functional team members to ensure the
appropriate level of quality is incorporated into LinX solutions.
- Assigned formally to the QA team and receives overall direction from the QA Manager; however, will work closely and receive specific assignments from various LinX application, project management and infrastructure teams based on project schedules and stages of project life cycle.
- Travel may be required.

Requirements:
- Attention to detail
- Proven experience leading a team in a quality control project
- Experience leading small to medium IT projects
- Proven experience creating and managing a fully loaded, resource leveled project plan
- Prior full life cycle system deployment experience
- Experience in developing and writing requirements
- Proven experience creating and executing test plans and scripts
- Experience writing and implementing QA processes
- Basic understanding of current software quality best practices
- Experience with testing methodologies and approaches
- Aptitude to understand technical components and how to incorporate appropriate quality with their deployment
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Demonstrate professional managerial skills organized, possesses attention to detail, can appropriately communicate with technical and business focused audiences
- Query skills for database verification
- Minimum of 7 years relevant experience
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with the Mercury Interactive suite of tools, specifically Test Director or Quality Center
- Familiarity with Oracles e-Business suite of applications
- Prior ERP or package software integration deployment experience
- Prior Oracle database experience
- Experience developing and/or testing Internet software solutions
- Experience developing and/or testing middleware and / or EAI solutions
- Experience writing performance test plans
- Experience with multiple test environments and managing change control
- Understanding of SEI-CMM model
