CDI is looking for an Object-Oriented Programmer with OLAP Experience to work on a full-time, permanent opportunity for one of our clients in the Chicago, IL area.

This person needs to have strong Object-Oriented Programming experience, utilizing languages such as C++, C#, VB.NET, Java, etc. This person will be working with a Sr. Developer on the design, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of an innovative Business Intelligence and Reporting System. This person will be working with business units to develop functional specifications based on requirements, as well as formulating and presenting technical solutions. He/she will also be working with existing customer data models to identify the appropriate OLAP dimensions. This position will also entail providing troubleshooting support to business users, as well as training to the business community. In addition to Object-Oriented Programming experience, this person should also have experience working with OLAP. As this position involved the development of a new prototype for a business system, this person should be more than just a heads-down coder, but someone with strong communication/documentation/analysis skills as well.

Required Skills: 5+ years Object-Oriented Programming Experience (C++, C#, etc.); OLAP; BS/BA in Computer Technology or equivalent.

Desired Skills: Microsoft Reporting Services; ASP.NET; JavaScript, XML.
