A small entrepreneurial business unit has an immediate opportunity available for a QC Specialist to join their internal and highly specialized team. This individual will be responsible for creating test plans and test scenarios, ensuring that developed software meets user requirements, and analyzing and reporting test results.

The work environment is dynamic and challenging, yet casual. The right candidate must be a team player who works well without supervision, has the ability to work on multiple projects and can organize and prioritize their work to achieve desired results in a timely manner.
Experience: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
At least 2 years of QC experience.
Knowledge of MS SQL Server and relational databases.
Experience with testing tools such as Mercury Quick Test Professional and Mercury Quality Center.
Experience with bug tracking tools such as Merant Tracker.
Good understanding of the software development lifecycle, QA/QC methodologies, and web-based solutions.
Performance and load testing skills a plus.
Must have strong communication skills.
Must be a team player with a good attitude who is eager to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
