Web Data Analyst in CHICAGO, IL
Not for Profit client is looking for an EXPERIENCED WEB DATA ANALYST to join their online team. This is a great organization that is growing in a terrific downtown location that is easily accessible by public transportation. A fantastic opportunity for the right candidate! This position is responsible for creating and analyzing metrics detailing Web site usage and visitor behavior, and highlighting trends to help the web strategy team understand and enhance Web site experience. This candidate must be a numbers person that can measure the online experience. Someone who understands research, which content, partners or channels drive conversion. The ideal candidate is able to take direction and work within a collaborative team. Experience working with WebTrends 8.0 (software) is ideal.
Essential job Functions are...
Run monthly Web Trends reports for multiple web sites and Web programs.
Provide customer insights from Web data and recommend ways to improve Website conversion, visitor experience and other key performance indicators.
Define and develop new web trends reports as needed.
Act as the internal point of contact for the association employees with questions and issues pertaining to analytics data.
Must be able to interact with IT department and outside vendors.
Comfortable putting together reports that combine various online and offline metrics.
Experience: BS/BA in communications, math or related field.
2+ years experience working with WebTrends software.
Experience with Google Analytics.
Strong written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to create diagrammed and graphed information highlighting key data using Microsoft Excel.
Logical and analytical thinker.
Must be highly organized.
Knowledge of analytics from content management systems such as Convio, Kintera or RedDot a plus.
Database experience a plus.
