Our client in Downtown Chicago, is currently looking for a software engineer with minimum of 2 years of experience in software development , which includes experience in gathering requirements, designing , implementing, supporting and also experience with the product release cycles. The ideal software engineer must have experience in object-oriented programming and database management. The software engineer must have Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent.<br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. Experience: The ideal software engineer for this position must have substantial knowledge of: Java and J2EE technologies; XML; Web development (HTML, AJAX, Web 2.0, Javascript, CSS); Microsoft-centric technologies (.NET, ASP, VB, MS-SQL server); Software development methodologies (RUP, Agile Development). Ideal candidate will possess knowledge/experience in any of the following: Web server administration (IIS, Apache); technical documentation; systems analysis; business analysis; familiarity with Survey or Market Research.
