General Summary & Scope
v  The Senior Configuration Lead is responsible for configuration changes within SAP WM/MM , in support of user requirements. The individual must be able to demonstrate ability in the design, configuration, & testing, of MM and WM functionality to include but not limited to: Purchase Requisitions, Purchase orders, Material Movements, Transfer Request, Transfer Orders, Reservations, Posting Changes, Stock Transfers, Invoice Verification, Storage Locations, Warehouses, Bins, Master Data Elements, Cycle Counts, pick /pack processes, bill of lading and label formats & other output controls..
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
v  Leads the configuration of SAP WM and MM modules
v  Leads document design decisions. Documents configuration and development rationale.
v  Designs and implements process improvements.
v  Leads effort in gathering functional requirements and data from business. Prepares functional specifications documents based upon user needs.
v  7+ years of actual ?hands on? work experience (not just project management but actually HANDS ON)
v  Proven and strong problem resolution/ analytical skills
v  Proven ability to work independently
v  Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
v  Proven ability to present ideas or demos to large audience. Able to communicate with all levels.
v  Proven ability to lead technical discussions.
v  Deep interest to continue to grow technically.
v  Has working knowledge of ABAP programming.
Job Specifications
v  SAP WM/MM Lead Analyst is involved in the design and implementation of configurable technology enabled business solutions. He or She functions as integrators, bringing together process and technology solutions to solve business issues.
v  Responsibilities include, among others, defining business and systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementation.
v  The lead analyst performs accurate analysis and effective diagnosis of user issues and manage day-to-day user relationships.
Special Position Requirements
v  Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field of study.
v  Requires at +7 years hands-on experience in the SAP WM/MM module.
v  Strong analysis skills that have been proven in an application development / ERP implementation environment.
v  Proven ability to as a lead by having demonstrated self initiative and leadership skills.
v  Proven ability to identify and understand problems and/or issues and develop solutions.
v  Proven ability to meet project deadlines.
v  Interest in developing knowledge around specific business areas, and how systems can be used to solve business problems in those business areas.
v  Strong customer relationship skills.
v  Ability to manage small to medium projects, sub-projects, deliverables, and milestones.
v  Strong organizational and analytical skills.
v  Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to present to mid-level management and Steering Committee members.
v  Understanding of the Systems Implementation Life Cycle.
v  Proven ability to perform advanced SQL and application specific query skills, use MS Office Suite of products, including MS VISIO and MS Project.
v  Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
