Our client in Downtown Chicago is currently looking for an excellent Data Analyst. The Data Analyst will be executing requests for lists and reports, both scheduled and ad hoc, using Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, SQL, and a third party database application. He/she will be assisting Database Manager and Information Reporting Manager in auditing existing reports. The Data Analyst will be performing ad hoc data requests on raw data files and produce list requests combining raw text files and data from the database.<br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. Experience: The ideal candidate for this role must have solid working knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel and the ability to translate user requirements into results. He/she must have advanced knowledge in Microsoft Access including WYSIWYG Query editor, SQL Query editor, Crosstab Queries. Also experience in Advanced Microsoft Excel including calculation formulas, LOOKUP formulas, pivot tables, and linking to external data, is a must. The ideal Data Analyst should have advanced work with reporting and analysis tools such as Business Object Crystal Reports, Microsoft Access Reports, and SPSS. This position also requires someone who has excellent verbal and written communication skills, and also the person must have the ability to adapt with grace to a fast-paced office environment , and fulfill any requirements.
