Our client is an outstanding University located on Chicago's South side. They are looking for a freelance web developer for a long term freelance opportunity.

In this project you will be responsible for maintaining and updating several websites and micro sites. You need to be versed in the following programs CSS, XHTML, HTML, Javascript, and XML. Is is a PLUS if you know AJAX and C#.

You must also have previous experience working in Photoshop and Fireworks and understand how to test web pages cross platform in the most popular browsers.

Last but not least, as you are interacting with several different groups, you must good communication skills are a must. Being able to explain sometimes complicated matters to people with little technical skill comes in handy more often than not. The ability to multi-task and juggle multiple projects is also essential.<br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. Experience: To be considered for this job opportunity you must 2+ years experience in front end web development. You must have samples to show. You must be an expert in HTML, XML, CSS, DHTML and Javascript. Experience working with ASP.net, AJAX, and C# is a HUGE plus.
