Analyzes, develops, tests and implements database designs in support of corporate and client area technology requirements. Performs data modeling, logical and physical database design. Includes maintenance of database dictionaries, monitoring of standards and procedures, access methods and time, validation checks, organization and statistical methods. Responsible for data loading, security, performance monitoring and tuning, capacity planning, and backup and recovery. Executes database software installation, database creations/configurations and loads.You will be required to provide day to day production support of the in-house applications from a MS SQL perspective. This demands intense troubleshooting/problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment. SQL script writing will be required to mitigate issues resulting from data conditions and analysis of issue due to defects in stored procedures, views and functions. You will be part of the oncall rotation with limited shift and weekend work and will be expected to handle a variety of support including application and file transfers while oncall.
