ETL Adminstrator with File-Aid in Chicago, IL
Analyzes, develops, tests and implements database designs in support of corporate and client area technology requirements. Performs data modeling, logical and physical database design. Includes maintenance of database dictionaries, monitoring of standards and procedures, access methods and time, validation checks, organization and statistical methods. Responsible for data loading, security, performance monitoring and tuning, capacity planning, and backup and recovery. Executes database software installation, database creations/configurations and loads.The individual will participate in a project to define and implement a data masking environment. The responsibilities include , but are not limited to the following. Implement data masking software, establish roles and responsibilities, identify and create processes and procedures, identify and create data masking rules, define data masking standards, naming conventions and participating in a pilot process.This position needs to have indepth experience analyzing data contained in Oracle and/or MS SQL Server databases, including understanding how the data is related and stored. A familiarity with data masking tools, such as Compuware's File-Aid/CS, and/or and ETL tool is highly desired. Experience writing scripts for Oracle and/or MS SQL Server. Be familiar with navigating data models, such as those produced by Erwin. Exposure to data masking projects, PCI and/or HIPAA is a plus.
