ob Description: This is a Data and batch processing position that leverages Control-M as the tool of choice for Automation. The person will monitor, create, edit new and existing Control-M Jobs. In addition the person will manage multiple and monitor GUI applications. The person will develop Control M and and VB scripts to automate various functions. This shift is for 3rd shift position of 10PM-6AM Monday through Friday. Previous Control-M experience and 3rd shift Requirements 1. Previous experience with Automation tools such as Control-M is a major plus.. 2. Excellent computing skills on the Windows desktop. 3. Knowledge of Windows networking is a major plus. Be able to map drives, use nslookup, etc. 4. Understanding and previous experience with Encryption (PGP etc), Compression (Winzip, PKUnzip) and FTP (WSFTP) technologies 5. Excellent Documentation Skills needed. Be able to document complex tasks clearly and concisely. 6. Previous scripting (vbscript or script,) experience is a big plus. 7. Excellent communication skills needed. 8. Multi-Tasking is a major requirement. The person will be asked to process multiple jobs simultaneously while answering phone calls and talking to people on Instant Messaging. 9. Work Schedule flexibility is required. The person will be assigned a shift. On occasions and on short notice the person may be asked to work other shifts including the graveyard. Previous BMC Control-M Experience is required. In addition,Previous Control-M archtitecture experience and Control M operations (monitoring) experience strongly preferred.
