Immediate start 04-06 Yrs. exp. Position Description: This position is on a small, collaborative, highly talented team where your input matters and your contributions will make a difference. We are looking for someone to help with the continued development of a suite of applications/services which are at the core of our global Equities and FX trading and analytics platforms. Responsibilities are broad and deep, involving the ongoing design and hands-on development of multi-tier, service-oriented web architectures. Requirements. Strong foundation in building high-performance Server Side Java web applications. Deep understanding of core Java, algorithms and data structures along with OO-design skills. Experience building lightweight, distributed, and scalable web applications. Hands-on experience developing applications leveraging RESTful APIs. Willingness to understand and extend complex proprietary libraries and infrastructure. Thorough knowledge of web standards, such as HTTP, XHTML, JavaScript, DOM, and CSS. Experience with Spring, Ajax, Struts2, or popular Javascript frameworks (jQuery, Prototype) is a plus but not required.
