Systems Analyst This position requires systems analyst skills with an emphasis on healthcare information systems along with the knowledge, desire and ability to learn multiple programming languages. Will maintain and develop applications and databases; completely and clearly document all work from design to resolution and will participate in all phases of development life cycle. Position requires ability to lead simple information systems projects with familiarity and utilization of project management tools. The Systems Analyst supports daily operations and project-based tasks. Works with user departments and Information Systems staff to resolve application system problems. Analyst must be familiar with standard query tools and system table management. Analyst must be familiar with overall processes related to clinical or financial/business department operations. The position is responsible for on-going maintenance, support, and evolution of assigned applications and systems. With assistance will help in the development of applications designed to solve ongoing operational issues. The person filling this position must be able to direct and manage communications with co-workers, peers, management, and vendor staff. Presentation skills and written communication skills are required. The position provides a high level of customer service and technical support. Supports IS department daily operations including rotating 24x7 on-call coverage; completes assigned project based tasks; co-manages projects with the ability to independently manage projects as needed. A. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field and 1-2 years experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience B. 1-3 years experience in application development in C# C. 3-4 years previous analyst experience in healthcare system applications support. D. Experience in Meditech systems and NPR programming E. Knowledge of ASP.NET and SQL Server strongly preferred. F. Understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) a plus. G. Ability to work with people at all skill levels. H. Excellent oral and written communication skills. I. Familiarity with project management skills and tools. J. Good customer relations skills. K. Ability to meet the department work schedule as designated, including requirements for on-call support. L. Ability to multi task in a face paced environment
