Significant experience in production application support is important. Ideally, the candidate will bring to the position the ability to identify, implement, and manage methods and processes that ensure high production availability and reliability. Requirments:
1) Five years of work experience with a Bachelor Degree OR Six years of work experience with a Technical Certificate or college courses OR Seven years of work experience. 2) Demonstrated leadership skills. 3) Experience in mission critical application environments. 4) A background in leading multi-disciplinary teams in: JAVA / HTML systems development and maintenance, relational database management systems such as DB/2, multi-platform high performance applications (i.e. RS/6000, mainframe environments). 5) Ability to influence and communicate with various levels of leadership. 6) Proven problem solving and decision making skills. 7) Demonstrated project management and oversight skills. 8) Solid organization skills with an attention to detail.
