JOB DESCRIPTION
Current working experience within a 7X24 Network Operations Center, monitoring routers, switches, data circuits, servers and environmental devices. Provide 1st level troubleshooting for all monitored devices within a Global Network Operations Center. Follow processes to escalate issues and to ensure SLA's are adhered too. Work closely with service providers for degraded or circuit outages. Update monitoring tools with new devices, maps, changes and removals. Update tickets within the ticketing system. Must have strong knowledge of Network protocols and good knowledge of CISCO routers, switches and firewalls is highly desired.
Tools that are used: Orion Solarwinds, Active Xperts, Vantage View, Mercury, Netflow. Use Visio to update diagrams and Word/Excel for documentation.
This is an extremely busy environment across 3 Global Regions, must be able to handle the coordination of multiple outages, notifications and monitoring.
Must be on site in Chicago IL. This is a 7x24 365 days support team, candidates must be flexible and willing to work any shift; 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift, weekend and holidays.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
- 3 to 5 years solid .NET development experience in fairly complex environments/projects
- Minimum of two full lifecycle AX implementations; good knowledge of GL/AP/AR Modules - including functions and data structures
- Experience w/ the Microsoft Dynamic AX 2009 toolset
- Experience configuring and maintaining data exchanges using one of the AIF adapters: file system, Message Queuing (MSMQ), or BizTalk
- Proficient in X++, C++, C#, ASP.NET, .NET 3.5 framework, WebForms/WinForms, WCF, Web Services, SOA, OOD/OOP
- Experience w/ SQL Server 2005/8 (SSIS, SSRS knowledge a big plus)
- Experience working w/ XML, XML schema and XSLT
- Experience/knowledge of Agile dev methodologies a plus
- Must have good analytical skills, abstract thinking, and good common sense
- Ability to perform assigned analytical and development tasks under min supervision

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Will be a key member of the project team charged with implementing AX across the enterprise (8+ business units.)

- Carry out AX dev/implementation tasks, and work on integrations to external systems.
- Contribute in group design sessions and code walkthroughs at the component level
- Create technical and support documentation as required
- Support/respond to initial production issues as necessary (during the initial go-live/ transition to app support)
