Senior Summit Business Analyst in Chicago, IL
A leading Bank based in Chicago U.S are currently seeking a Senior Summit Business Analyst to join their Summit I.T Team.This is an excellent opportunity for a Summit Business Analyst looking to move to the U.S as a relocation package and visa assistance will be provided.Strong Summit knowledge is a must especially Summit Accounting. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Defines and documents client requirements and conceptual design for business applications. Acts as liaison between Bank business units and Information Systems staff to ensure quality of requirements definition, use case scenarios, systems design, client documentation and testing processes. Documents and proposes ways to re-engineer business processes by incorporating effective use of technology. Develops and coordinates evaluation of vendor RFPs. Serves as a project manager on systems projects of small to mid range complexity, as assigned. 1. Provide the linkage between the business units and Information Systems through relationship management. Facilitate communication and act as the liaison between the business units and IS.2. Assist business units in evaluating, defining, and justifying technology initiatives, and required budget.3. Assist business units in evaluating potential vendor and internally developed technology solutions.4. Define and document and end-user business requirements. Communicate business requirements to technical staff.5. Document use case scenarios which support the development of application enhancements suggested from business requirements. Communicate scenarios to technical staff. 6. Acquire knowledge of computer-based applications used by business units.7. Transfer application knowledge to technical staff to ensure a continuity of support for end-users.8. Document and maintain assigned project plans using appropriate project tracking software and project management best practices.9. Responsible for collecting all documentation associated with assigned projects.10. Identify and report, in a timely manner, relevant project issues and delays to management. Relevant areas are, but not limited to, achievements, timeframes, resources, budget and tasks.11. Facilitate project team communication, which includes conducting project status review meetings and post-completion project evaluation review meetings.12. Participate in professional development and knowledge sharing activities.13. Perform other duties as assigned.14.
