Duties: Logical and physical design and administration of multiple Oracle databases for both Real Time and batch applications Use Erwin 7 as a data modeling tool Work with user to understand business requirements/needs Maintain the Enterprise data model repository using Erwin ModelMart Create DDL scripts, define database snapshots, performance monitoring, tablespace utilization, schema object management and capacity planning Assist with application design & performance tuning Coordinate testing with development groups Requirements: 6+ years experience in Relationship database design & administration Oracle expertise required with an emphasis on data modeling, data analysis and deployment of databases Erwin skills required Prior experience with large databases (100+tables) and database sizes great than 1TB. 3+ years with application analysis and design Some experience with applications development in a distributed network environment strongly preferred Experience with partitioned & sub-partitioned tables and VLDB required Oracle 10i RAC experience required BS Degree preferred
