The Program Financial Analyst role is responsible for handling the financial analysis and reporting duties for a global project office. Duties will include analysing budget to actual performance; creating and generating financial reports; providing support summaries to internal and external stakeholders; making adjusting entries; and other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
1. The candidate will work with program and project financial information from Chicago, Amsterdam, and London
2. The candidate will be located in Chicago, IL
3. Limited travel may be required

Position Responsibilities
1. Gather financial information from systems and people in multiple locations
a. Classify and/or review recording of accounting transactions
b. Prepare and/or review interpretation of financial results
c. Identify problems, research possible solutions, and form conclusions to present to supervisor or other individuals involved. Correct problems. Draft procedures for review
2. Create financial reports for each of 20-30 projects in multiple locations worldwide and summarize them for programme-wide reporting, including:
a. Month-end and forecast results
b. Time Tracking
c. Budget Estimates
d. Expense Reporting
e. Forecasting
3. Create new processes and/or procedures when appropriate
4. Assist in establishing procedures
5. Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary

Qualifications
1. Must be able to work with people in different geographical locations and at all levels in the organization
2. Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
3. Minimum of 2 years experience in finance or accounting
4. Solid technical skills required
a. Working knowledge of accounting software desirable
b. Microsoft Access skills highly desirable
c. Must be an expert with Microsoft Excel
5. Demonstrated experience and proficiency in applying accounting principles/theories and concepts to daily duties
