As part of the HSBC User Centered Design team you will discover, understand, promote and visually communicates the goals of the end user while balancing the needs of the business or client. Through observation and reviewing research conducted by the User Experience Architect (UXA). Develop a broader understanding of the product or service through brand audits and competitive analyses. Integrate and interpret the information architecture along with business requirements and discoveries into a cohesive, usable, aesthetically pleasing user interface design. Support Senior Designers on larger projects and takes ownership of smaller, less complex product design lifecycles. Experience: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Interactive/Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Studio Art, Human Computer Interaction, or related area

A minimum of three years experience creating and developing experience design solutions for high-traffic dynamic interactive products or services as well as experience with e-commerce design.

Experience in product and application design in a consulting environment preferred.

The ability to multi-task, prioritize and consistently meet deadlines.

A deep understanding of HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, major graphic design applications, digital media editing software and standard office productivity applications.

The ability to present a portfolio that demonstrates an understanding of and passion for experience design and basic graphic design principles.

Strong oral and written communication skills; good analytic and problem solving skills.

Understanding of user-centered design principles; knowledge of industry best practices and standards; and a professional communicator inside and outside the design team.
