Business Development Manager


A unique and exciting opportunity for an individual with proven expertise in business development of software developed services. If you know the software consulting business and want more responsibility with less travel-we would love to talk to you.

Interested candidates must process strong industry knowledge and experience in selling or consulting for software developed services (not products) in business, insurance, government or IT-product-building industries. Enthusiasm and passion for your work are essential qualities, as well as a desire to learn our client's design approach in order to convey their services to prospective clients.

The successful candidate will need to effectively interact with design teams who work directly with clients. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential for success in this position. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years or more of related experience in business development of software developed services is required. Attention to detail, multi-tasking and excellent follow-up skills are needed. Candidates must have established contacts to draw upon. Travel will include meetings at prospective client sites and attendance at related conferences for networking purposes.

Successful candidates will possess;

· Experience in selling software developed services (not products) in industry or consulting to:

o Businesses

o Government

o IT product-related organizations who build software (Not product marketing)

o Insurance companies



· Consulting/Relationship-building and selling skills

· Passion for their work

· Enthusiasm

· Strong industry knowledge

· Willingness to learn about our client's design processes

· Knowledge and thought process of how to deliver solutions to prospective clients

· Must work well with teams who work directly with the clients
