My client is expanding in the Business Continuity Practice areas, and we have an immediate need for High Availability Consultants in the Chicago area (75% travel US). We are looking for highly experienced professionals with a strong technical background in Leading Client Engagements with BCP DRP hands-on IT Architecture, High Availability, Recovery etc, and to help our clients define the direction and implementation of corporate-wide BCP solutions. Mainframe zOS zSeries MVS OS390 Systems Programming with High Availability developing BCP DRP Plans is highly desirable.

Required (3+ years of the following):
* Business Continuity BCP DRP leadership, direction, plan development, and implementation,
* IT Infrastructure - AND - IT Applications architecture and high availability,
* Mainframe environments Systems Programming - OR - UNIX platforms Systems Administration,

You will provide clients with a high level, management-oriented view of how and where changes can be made to improve the client's BCP process; expected to provide engagement leadership across the layers of Business Continuity (strategy & vision, organization, processes, applications & data, technology & facilities) with a strong focus on mainframe technology. Engagement responsibility will cover multiple Business Continuity Service Areas (risk management, business continuity, availability, recoverability & security).
Candidate will work with other BCP practitioners & clients in all sectors/industries to translate customer business requirements into solutions. Major Field of Study: CS, IS MIS or related experience.
Complex Client Engagement Leadership, Analyze Business & IT Requirements, Advise client BCP Strategies, Advise Client BCP Technology, Client BCP Solution Development, Knowledge / Experience w/Internal Recovery Strategy, Develop Transition Plans, Facilitate Group Workshops, IT Consulting skills, Client Relationships, Good Communications-oral & written, Understanding of & Experience in Mainframe environment (MVS, OS390, zOS).

This position includes the following:
