SAS Developer and Team lead
Requirements include: Hands on developer with at least 5 years SAS programming for data management. Complex Data Step manipulations of large data sets (multi-GB) in a Windows PC and networking environment. Knowledge and experience with complex SAS Macro programming. Experience designing and implementing complex data management solutions with SAS and batch job streams interfacing with external databases (SQLServer) Expertise in creating reports from SAS data sets Expertise in SQL and PRO*C Knowledge and experience with Relational Database design and development Knowledge of SQLServer, DTS packages, and VB script a plus. Responsibilities include: Ability to communicate well with both non-technical users and technical staff Ability to build requirements, design solutions, implement solutions and problem solve and troubleshoot Ability to break down complex problems into manageable components; having the skills and ability to help solve the problems Provide task management and technical direction to small teams during development and support Ability to coach and mentor less experienced developers, including quality review of code.
