A client of Robert Half Technology is seeking a QA Analyst for a contract to permanent position in downtown Chicago. The candidate will be working closely with a technologically advanced team responsible for developing multi-tiered web-based applications. Responsibilities include analyzing specifications, implementing and executing test plans to qualify internet applications for release readiness, and clearly communicating and tracking defects. The candidate will also produce release notes for customers as enhancements are approved, provide the required support to assure the timely closure of development issues, work closely with the development team to verify system changes against specifications, and manage any Quality Assurance consultants as necessary. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in qualifying complex internet applications built using Microsoft tools and technologies.
