Our client located in the CHICAGO-LOOP, currently seeks a Lotus Notes and Domino Portal Engineer for DIRECT-HIRE.Responsibilities:Responsible for the administration and technical support of Lotus Notes/Domino environments. Analysis and trouble shooting of Lotus Notes/Domino issues. Design, implement, test, and trouble shoot e-mail systems and application servers. Capacity Management planning for Lotus Notes/Domino infrastructures. Documentation of Domino server environment and Domino procedures for both servers and clients. Design, implement,and test all messaging and collaboration systems, including problem determination and escalation. Job Requirements:Minimum of 4-6 years previous experience with Lotus products. Certified Lotus Professional (CLP) certification is preferred Knowledgeable in Lotus Notes/Domino 6.x and 7.x administration and server configuration Experienced in Domino mail routing, LAN/WAN systems, TCP/IP Networking protocol concepts, SMTP, and Anti-virus and Anti-spam technologies. Experienced in server and client upgrades to new releases Server and client security architecture Has performed day-to-day Lotus Notes/Domino administration tasks, involving troubleshooting server and client issue's. Familiar with industry standard anti SPAM and virus protection measures. Experience with IBM hardware and server build process. Experience with Windows and Linux operating system. Experience with IBM Collaboration tools including but not limited to Sametime, DUCS, AdSync and WebMail. Experience with Blackberry Enterprise Server Ability to travel up to 50% as needed Four-year degree in business or computer-related field or equivalent experience Demonstrated ability and desire to learn and apply new technologies quickly Strong problem solving/analysis skills Strong interpersonal and presentation skills including consulting skills Strong oral and written communication skills
